Description
Our FASA Invictus IPA celebrates the best of British, American and South African Hops in a vibrant 4.5% brew. Featuring Southern Passion Hops, African Queen and XJA-436 Hops from South Africa, Citra and Mosaic from the USA and classic British Goldings.
Brewed in partnership with Macclesfield’s Fallibroome Academy, the proceeds from the sale of this ale will support the sporting teams of the school in their efforts to positively impact partner schools in Dennegeur and Grabouw in South Africa.
This 4.5% beauty is full of hop-forward flavours with a huge tropical fruit and floral nose, as well as hop bitterness supported by a malt backbone. A bright and juicy ale with a quick, non-lingering finish.
“An Invincible Pale Ale – Beer for the Unconquerable Soul”
Invictus by William Ernest Henley
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
